Allowing activPAL continuous wear of up to 14 days, the PALpatch™ has a connector seal providing 24/7 shower-proof wear (IP65) and nitrile sleeve for water-resistance (<1m) for immersive activities (IP67).

Instructions for use
1 Ensure skin is clean and dry
a skin prep wipe can be used, for example commonly sold as IV prep antiseptic wipes
2 Long hair should be clipped back over the application site on the midline of the thigh
3 Setup activPAL ready for use
4 Apply sleeve (optional) and connector seal
Shower-proof use (IP65) – apply connector seal to the back of the activPAL with the tongue closing over the connector mouth and sealing onto the ventral aspect of the activPAL
Waterproofing (<1m) for immersive activities ( IP67)– apply nitrile sleeve from round end of activPAL, when fully unrolled, stretch and twist the end of the sleeve and secure in place on the ventral surface of the activPAL using the wide part of the seal, stretch the seal down over the connector and secure
5 Remove clear tab on top of the ‘patch and place activPAL centrally on adhesive pad
6 Holding the activPAL at the waist, remove the cream liner
7 Apply the ‘PAL & ‘patch to the prepared application site on the thigh
8 Press firmly around the ‘patch fringe with a finger to ensure all round attachment
