From the main screen select ‘Setup’ in the menu on the top left.
Enter recording parameters
Start condition: Future Time
With the start condition set as ‘Future Time’, the activPAL will start recording at a specified time.
Parameters:
- recording identifier – this is an optional identifier to the data file which is both stored as part of the data file and the filename on download
- start at: the start time and date of the recording(Note 0:00 is midnight, 12:00 is midday)
- stop at: the stop time and date of the recording (Note 0:00 is midnight, 12:00 is midday)
- record for – specify the duration of the recording in days
Start condition: Immediately
With the start condition set as ‘Immediately’, the activPAL will start recording immediately on removal from USB.
Parameters:
- recording identifier – this is an optional identifier to the data file which is both stored as part of the data file and the filename on download
- record for – specify the duration of the recording in days
Confirm Setup
After confirmation that the device will be erased, the device recording will be setup.
On successful setup, remove the activPAL from USB.
Start condition: Future Time
The activPAL will flash orange to show that it is set to start at a future time. At the programmed time, the orange light will stop flashing, and the green light will flash to show it is recording. When the recording has stopped, the activPAL will stop flashing.
Start condition: Immediately
The green light will flash to show the recording has started. When the recording has stopped, the activPAL will stop flashing.
