PALanalysis v7.2.38.2

Open PAL data

PALanalysis can open either PAL data files (file extension: datx) or PAL process files (file extension .pal).

The PAL process file is created by the tool for efficient loading of results and can always be regenerated from the original datx file.

Activity summary

This visualisation shows activity summaries by day and hourly epochs.

Events linear

To view the linear events view for a selected day, go to the file menu and click ‘Select day’.

The day number can then be selected.

The Activity Profile for the day is displayed in the window.

On opening the datx file the Events csv file is automatically created.

The 15 second epoch csv file can be generated via the top menu
